A Journey Rooted in Perseverance
Shannon’s career is a story of resilience. She began her path to medicine as a waitress and mother of four, working her way through nursing school to earn her associate degree in 2011 and BSN in 2017. That same year, she was diagnosed with breast cancer — undergoing four surgeries over four years while never stepping back from her studies or clinical work. In 2022, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing and became licensed as a PMHNP.
She has worked in inpatient hospitals, substance use programs, and private outpatient practices — always focusing on compassionate, practical, and effective care for those most in need.
